About Me

Hi, am Lameck Akama. I was born in a humble family hear in Keroka Gusii land. I went to Amabuko primary school, a public primary school near my home hear. After primary school I qualified and joined high school but my studies were cut short due to lack of funds. I then started working as a labourer for a construction company. I have since worked untill I have learnt the art of building and construction. I saved the money I got from my work and started building my own rental houses. It is hard for a man here to survive without a good job but am ggreatfull to God I made it. My first born son wants to be an Engineer and also talks about pastoring. My young daughter dreams of becoming a doctor. I spend my leisure time watching football.

My Business

I am building rental houses since the demand for houses hear in Keroka is increasing with the growth of the town. This will meet the peoples demand for proper housing. I chose this kind of business because of my knowledge and exposure to the building and construction industry. The cost of building is relatively high but I do it in bits so that the ones am done with are occupied to generate income for continuing with the construction. I use the profits to pay for my childrens school fee and to run my house budget. I am also left with some little which I re-invest in my project.

Loan Proposal

i intend to expand my business in construction by buying more equipment and also enable me make receive more contracts.by having this,i will also be able to lend these equipment to others so that i can be able to make an extra profit.
