I grew up at molo,I am an ECDE certificate holder, i'm very hardworking, progressive and honest farmer from a very remote village. This area is very fertile with favorable weather patterns that support farming activities. i'm happily married and a proud mother of 1 child,
i have a farm that i made my savings from working in peoples farms and started my cultivation business
The business im doing Currently is growing tomatoes and watermelons.
My main challenge is financial strains (inputs) and also the challenge of not producing enough to meet the ready market that is already there.
I use my profits to support my family and expand my business.
My future aim is to get a green house that can support my activities all year round. my business makes me happy
I'm seeking funds from zidisha lenders to put up a greenhouse. Greenhouse farming is a very profitable agricultural venture in Kenya. Greenhouse farming is the production of crops within sheltered structures, and i plans to grow crops within controlled conditions, thereby protecting the crops against the vagaries of weather and against pests and diseases.
