My name is Mathews Bosire kerongo am married with Two kids,I was born in Keumbu kisii district in the year 1983,am the fifth member of Mzee kerongo family in eremo village omote.I schooled at eremo primary school and Giachere Friends secondary school the year 1996 and 2001 respectively ,where i proceeded to College at Mombasa polytechnic in 2003 and 2004,at the moment am employed in the insurance sector and i run a part time business of :
• Selling micro insurance to women and youth and less fortunate in the community
• free consultancy &Training on entrepreneurship and financial literacy to women and youth who are members
• Selling of cereals, cooking floor, soap, cooking oil, toilet paper at highly discounted prices to members.

I started this business in Nairobi in the year 2013,This came about when i realized its potential and more especially skills enhancements to the young women and unemployed youth also to bridge gap of additional income to my family and creation of employment to the youth.
The business will expand in future to include sale of Cooking LPG gas,kerosene and accessories to the low income neighborhood.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
People usually walk very far to get this precious commodity;kerosene.The nearest shops sale at a very high cost,making life more difficult for poor families.
TARGET MARKET
Village neighborhood of a population of over 20,000 people most of them depending on kerosene for their daily energy.
EXPECTED PROFIT
I will be selling the kerosene at an average of ks 85 PER liter making a profit of KS 10 per litre
MANAGER :I will be involved in selling in the evening and morning hours
SALES PROJECTIONS:
the demand is most likely to be overwhelming and tonnes of Liters to be sold considering the number population and usage is high,since most people depend on the product

FUTURE EXPANSIONS
in future am expecting to employ more people and add new line of products like cooking Gas cylinders, and accessories

    Am very very sorry to my lenders,am behind in paying my loan.I lost my business when the premise owner decided to convert our shops to a guest house,getting strategic shop has been a hard thing and my family daily expenses went up due to loss of income and I was grounded,am back now into operations and I hope to start paying my loan and clear it soonest possible.I was kept off air due to lack of even money to pay for surfing the internet.
    hope you will understand the circumstances please.

    I am in note and i have not been able to repay my loan in time due to the calamity that happened to my business,we forced to close our business premises for owner wanted to add a storey on top and am yet to find a new premise to start off again to recovery.However am looking for other alternative source to clear the balances.Kindly bear with me.

    I have read these rule but i dont now what happened..
    Large repayment rule relaxed. Before, members could not qualify for a credit limit increase if they paid more than 30% of the loan at once. Now, members may repay up to 50% at once and still qualify for a credit limit increase.

    I got a wind fall money by selling my old manual pump,and i repaid the loan.Though i broke the rule of repaying the loan more 50%,i regret the action for i had to lose credit limit increase.However i have applied the limit amount and I request for your support to raise the money.

    Am still soldering on with the business and am seeing good progress,i managed to get 10 dollars-830 KES profit this week and this translated to increase of the profit by 5%, am planning to undergo atraining in accounts and finance skills to enable me get acquinted to cash management in the business for future prosperity.

    Hallo my dear lenders,I have been off line a few weeks ago due to uprupt malaria illness attack but i got the attention of medication and am now back and well,my repayments was disturbed a bit due to closure of the business and usage of the money in hospital,but my stock was not affected much and i hope to clear the balance of one installment this week.Sorry for the inconvenience caused and i will put more effort to clean this mess up in the future.God bless you
