About Me

I am metrine Amboka .I am the first born in a family of four.I attended sda kanunga primary school and kolanya secondary school.I later joined Kisumu polytechnic for certificate in beauty and hair dressing.
after training as a beautician i did not have capital to start my business. i went back to village where i had a few contact friends. they could visit me at my home and I could attend to them.due to my good job <i got more referrals and clients.my aim was to save and open my saloon and beauty shop. After one year of struggle,i managed to open my saloon doors in December 2014. I thank God for the saloon is doing well.
I come from the wanga community and we are rich in culture.one outstanding culture is that our departed brothers are buried while in sitting position. it is believed they are more comfortable when slitted.
I currently do not have kids but planning to get some in the near future.
My hobbies including reading,watching movies,meeting new people and making new friends.

My Business

My beauty shop and saloon provides wide range of products and services. I do hair dressing,manicure and pedicure.The demand for these goods is always high due to large number people (women) who want the products and services.
After training as a beautician ,i had wealth of knowledge in these field and that is why I decided to do these business. I always have a lot of passion in the beauty industry .
I usually spend $200 on rent ,electricity and water.and my average revenues are about $400 a month.
I use a big chunk about 60% of my income to reinvest in the business ,since I am still lacking some basics for the business. I pay fees for my younger brother and help my parents with the general family expenses.

Loan Proposal

I thank you so much for the first loan.It was very helpful as my clients can now appreciate my good work by looking at themselves. I can also make necessary corrections to make them get the best utility from my services. Please help me raise the second loan to enable me buy a few cosmetic products for resale and a good chair for the clients. The chair will cost me $80 and I will use the balance to buy cosmetics and beauty products for resale. I expect my revenues to increase by 60%thank you
