I am comfort Amaning but most of my neighbours and customers call me Auntie Akosua. I am 62 years now but do not feel tired of what I love doing most.
I am the only girl who got a little education from my parents who are late.
I was a right girl, who loved to read and write but in those days you are not permitted.
They say "mmarima na eye akrakye fo na mama de woware". To wit " men are gentlemen and ladies are gutted married to.
This never stopped me from being the woman of substance today.
Food is very important and having access to good home food was very rare. They says home sweet home but I had a mind to create a home away from home and the only way was food.
I operate a local restaurant which serves our traditional home foods to customers.
Because of the patience and great deal of work I input in my food preparation, most of customers who pass by cannot stop coming g to my local restaurant since they feel at home.
My local restaurant lies along the main Accra to Kumasi road. It is called "Efie Chop bar".
Because of the level patience in treating my customers I receive a lot of customers.
I want to build an additional shed for my customers.
Since my main goal is making the customer feel at home at the same time engage with nature.
The new shed will give comfort to my customers who visit my local restaurant.
