I joined zidisha more than 8 yrs ago. Helped me buy my first sewing machine. I opened a shop and was doing well but closed it when very cheap ready made clothes became a choice for many of my customers. Moved to Tanzania to do the same design work then came back to Kenya, started online cosmetics shop and I've never looked back. Opened a shop that is making me well over USD 50000 a month and also opened a nails parlour that makes decent money. I have employed 5 employees so far and doing well
Opened a cosmetics shop that is making me well over USD 50000 a month and also opened a nails parlour that makes decent money. I have employed 5 employees so far and doing well. I am looking for a loan to expand my business. I want to import products directly from wholesalers in China and USA which are way cheaper than buying from wholesalers here in Kenya. They sell in thousands of pieces and requires capital. That's what I'm looking for the loan for
The loan given will be used to purchase a new sewing machine. It will create new jobs as I will have to employ someone to help me in production. Your support will be supporting youths in getting and creating jobs.
I am a designer and do bridal wear, office wear and casual wear. I have run the business for almost two years now. I am now venturing into corporate branding and soft furnishing.
I believe in dreams coming true, and my dream since I was in high school as a young girl was to make a difference in this world and open a design school to make a difference in other girls’ lives too. If someone helps you, help others too.
