My name is Grace Oluku, born in a village called Khwisero in Kakamega County. A fifth born in a family of 7 grew up in small scale farm, which our parents used to educated us up to high school, level. After school I was employed in a cyber cafe for some time and that is where from my salary I saved for quit sometimes an thus where I started my own cyber.Recently I was employed by an agency working for Del Monte Kenya Ltd as a merchandiser. Although have been employed, I still continue with the cyber business not because for the profits coming out of it alone but also to help and educate people around my area who usually used to walk for a long distance in such of a cyber.
The business has an income of Kshs10,000 a month. I chose this kind of business so as to fight ignorance amongst my people and have an informed community. This kind of business is my profession and we are living in the world of technology. My salary here varies due to the cash we net monthly the little I get here I use for paying school fees for my kids and also for paying rent. I intent to continue with this business, because in future I want to start a computer class, selling computer hardware and software and also computer maintenance. Services offered includes; Browsing, Printing and Photocopying.
Dear Zidisha Team, I thank you for giving this opportunity to be in your team, I request for loan to buy computer which will increase the quantity of my computers also enable more people to browse at the same. This additional computer will make customers not to wait for others to finish browsing before they get access to computers. I will also buy Keyboards, mouse, empty cds and dvds.I will be very grateful if given the loan. Once again I thank you.
