About Me

I am a member of a humble family of six, that is, until my father passed on in 2005, bringing this number down to five currently. Being the second born, but the eldest son among other three siblings, delivered in 24th of June, 1987, I have always had the virtue of humility and respect to other people in favour of their happiness.

I began pre-school education in 1994 and completed in 2011, attaining a certificate in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

Orero Boys' Secondary School made me score a mean grade of C+, earning me a chance of proceeding to Asumbi TTC after six years out of school for lack of school fee. Despite all these I excelled with 20 points (Credit 3) having only a minimal number of fresh form four leavers ahead of me!

For me, this was a dream-come-true because I almost forgot of attending any college since, despite having qualified after form four, my applications to TTC were always thwarted for reasons I didn't understand but may be, for lack of a godfather, being that I had no father to fight for me. This was my first overcome hardship but still prepared for more.

I 'unconsciously' started a cybercafe business in 2009 with a second-hand computer desktop and a HP 1500 printer. This was after having undergone a training in computer packages, serving someone in their computer service provision business, saving 14,500 KES and purchasing these equipment just for leisure, only to realise that my competency in typing was an envy to many, coupled with humility drew 'customers' to my mother's house, compelling me to renting a stall at Rangwe Trading Centre. Now I have 15 computers, network, Epson Printers et al.

I live in Luo land, within a very remote area with poor infrastructure. For sure Rangwe in Homa Bay County need very serious investors, at least to prompt those in charge to build roads and do all necessary for the 21st century dictates! HOW I WISHED 'ZIDISHA' COULD MAKE AN INVESTOR OF ME!
My culture is widely known for wife inheritance, though my Christian family does not confer to this as my mother is not a victim (funny?).

I have two lovely boys with the eldest in Pre-Unit while the other is barely one year old. Davis is yet to be conscious of his future, though I love his singing ambition.

Anyway, I am a singer, actually an artist. I love the combination only that I tried attending Buruburu Institute of Fine Art (BIFA) but fee proved higher than my ability-I instead did a P1 course.

Thanks and remember that I need this partnership, dearly!

My Business

My cyber cafe business deals in computer service provision which includes: Typesetting, printing, browsing, play station, and all, within my capability, that a customer may need.
In addition, the business has expanded to Audio Recording services as from January last year, 2018.
My business sell computer accessories like memory cards, flash disks, hard disks, blank CD/DVD etc.
I also deal in stationery like lamination pouches, manila papers, embossed papers, photo printing papers etc.
Photocopying and photography are also provided services.
I am also a consultant in computer malfunctions, for I understand a bit of software.

These goods and services are in demand following the number of primary and secondary schools around and local artistes who are in dire need of talent growth in singing. Also, being that Rangwe is currently a sub-County Headquarter, more people are coming in hence these services are direly needed.

I chose this kind of business because, as earlier indicated, I realised my potential, and with support of other people, that I could serve them best. Just do a small survey if possible, and find out the leading Cyber Cafe coupled with audio recording studio service provider within Rangwe and the environs.

As a now, my business is worth over 900,000KES
Apart from the savings from this business, which is my largest source of revenue, I do farming and participate in Table Banking (Chama) which have all poised remarkable business growth.

School for my child, reinvestment in growing the business and home improvements are the very necessities. Currently, my wife is a qualified High school teacher with Diploma in Education Arts from in Rongo University-Kenya. This was paid for by the business savings.

Thanks.

Loan Proposal

PHOTO PRINTING PAPERS
Project coat:$5
Amount applied for: $5.78
Amount offered: $4.91
Own contribution: $0.09
I will purchase 5 packets of 4 by 6 photo printing papers, at $1 each. With every packet containing 100 pieces of paper, this brings a total of 500 pieces.
Photos are printed at $0.5 each.
Expected amount is $0.5 * 500 papers=$250
Profit is therefore; $250 less $5=$295(exclusive of ink, wear and tear, labour, wastes, power and other parafanalia).
If this is done consistently, then the impact will be great.
The businesses will grow and I project purchase of a new fast printer as the one I have presently is slaw.
