About Me

About Me
Am a first born in a family of three, a continuing student studying Nutrition in Rift valley Technical Training institute-Eldoret. As a kid i always dreamt of being an entreprenuer. Getting capital to begin my business was not easy, but with my little savings from jobs during vacations i was able to buy a dairy cattle which I sell the milk to the neighbour customers. Therefore I request zidisha for a little loan to boost my business in terms of capacity.
The business is situated at kokwao location and has been in operation for 8 months.
I started the business to fill a gap which existed at the location due to unmatched demand and supply.
I usually re- invest most of the profit the business has generated in order to increase the capital base.
With the zidisha loan, i will increase the number of dairy cattle. This will increase the milk yields currently available and also meet the demand of various customers

My Business

My Business
As i previously mentioned, the business deals with dairy cattle for provision of milk,
These milk customers buy frequently in order to satisfy their everyday needs.
There are several competitors in the area, however my business prides itself in being able to offer most affordable milk in terms of price.
The business faces risks such competition from similar businesses and also decreased purchasing power of consumers which usually characterise the post festive period.
Presently, the business generates 60 USD in a month in terms of profit.
Loan Proposal
Currently, the business can only handle and sell milk of around 30 litres a day and this is not sufficient to meet customers demand due to increased population.
The loan will be used in acquiring another dairy cattle to increase daily milk supply, hence increasing the business capacity.

Loan Proposal

My Loan Proposal:
When I get this Loan,it will help me in the following 2 or 5 ways,Building a shade to protect during hard weather conditions at estimate of 50 dollars and the balance for buying dairy feeds, drugs and paying veterinary services estimated at 45.38 dollars and by so doing the quality of the dairy products will improve such as milk, meat and skin hence increasing the returns. The returns will then help expand my firm, creating job opportunities to unemployed young graduates and even more supply of milk to the neighbours and the entire country.
Without your financial support I will not be able meet all the requirements solely
as the cost of maintaining dairy farm is high.By meeting all the requirements,my
profit actually will shoot monthly by 20% thereafter 50% every month and this will enable me employ more people, supply quality products hence improving their standards of living.
Thangs & Regards.
Judy Jeruto.

Made a couple of payments in 2017, but has not been heard from since. In June 2019, I finally gave up and transferred the loan to the Zidisha Members Loan Fund.
