About Me

I am margret wanyonyi from Kakamega, kenya. My parents were farmers who kept cows and crop farming, I learnt dairy farming from a tender age this pushed me to stuying agriculture where later on after campus i joined my parents with managing of their dairy farm which we all relied on to suuport the farm and sibllings. Its later on that i was married and started my own dairy farm with help from my husband and father.

My Business

My farm is a small farm with four dairy cows and one bull which we use for reproduction, The farm has build up progressively from two cows to four and having sold some bulls which we dont keep because of food capacity. I intend to expand futher through buying of heifers to boost ilk preoduction now and in future, as a way to maximise profits we are focusing on planting super napier grass and mixing our own concentrates to reduce food cost.

Project Proposal

I will spend this granted loan to buy dairy feeds.
Thank you.
