About Me

I am the Second born in a family of Four .I have One brother and One Sister. My parents worked hard to ensure that we had a decent life by paying our school fees.

I studied in Kabianga Primary and worked my best and then succeeded in proceeding with my secondary education. I went to Secondary school and completed after four years where I attained a mean grade of B -plain. This grade enable me to join University where I studied Agricultural Extension and Education .
I Completed and passed.
After completing my university i did not managed to secure a job and decided to venture in farming.

My Business

After struggling in life i decided to start agribusiness enterprise and started a poultry farming of 20 flocks. The poultry did very well and the hens laid eggs continuously .I sold the eggs and purchase the seeds in order to venture in capsicum farming .
This has enabled me to get some income but the challenge comes when there is no rain as my farming is depended on rain. currently the rainfall patterns in Africa is becoming very unpredictable and many times I have lost crops due to continuous drought. However this has not made me to give up. As at now I harvested some Cabbages which earned some good income and I am planning to plant some beans in the same farm that I harvested the cabbages.
The demand for fresh farm produce is always there as people want to eat fresh food. I did chose to venture into poultry and fresh farm produce because i saw the high demand that existed and I also wanted to apply the practical skills I gained in University
This farming adventure had been an headache due to limited capital. I have been dreaming of purchasing a greenhouse to expand the project but all has been in vain

Project Proposal

I will use the fund to buy feeds for my two dairy cows which currently are in Zero grazing. Feeds have been a challenge and my cows are doing well and I hope they will improve yields if I provide more fodder.

thanks to my lenders, Humble Bundle Community and Paul Buchheit. my loan will boost my start up capital to buy a heifer dairy cow to start. I have hope that with this good start, I'll work smart to hit my target of 20 hybrid dairy cows.
