About Me

My name is john kiragu gathungu I was born in 1st january 1968 at a prace called sogonoi location nakuru district which is today known as nakuru county i started my primary education in 1973 at kiboko primary school which was situated at lord delemere farm and completed in 1980 i performed well and joined lake nakuru secondary school in nakuru town in 1981 i completed in 1984 having done my o levels the following year i joined graphics college also in nakuru town to study a course in photography and film editing from there i worked with various organizations in the same field for ten years. I married Mrs Nancy Njeri in the year 1990 and we are blessed with four children three daughters and one boy of whom we love so much in 1997 i decided to start self employment of selling audio cassettes .Today the business has changed to selling compact discs [ CD's] my music store is runned by me and my wife nancy i also act as a middle man in selling plots and land in gilgil town and its environs my vision is to make my music store a fully functional music studio in recording and film editing

My Business

my business is located in gilgil town. This town is a very busy town since most of the people travel to this town to purchase their commodities from . i started my business in the year 1997 due to the high demand for regular and gospel music cassettes. the demand for compact discs and video shooting is is very high due to the big number of schools and colleges located in this town i am planing to capture business from big institutions like the National youth service training college which is runned by the Government and is located in gilgil town During training season this college holds about seven thousand recruits making it a hub of business in shooting documentaries and individual training sessions all put together in a compact disc. my commodities are always cheaper than my immediate competitors because i get my stock from the actual producers and importers in Nairobi i also sell empty CD's for recording purposes

Dear lenders am so grad for joining zidisha, thanks a a lot to the team. i will use the money to add more stock to my music store. this will compose of mainly gospel music. in my home town of gilgil, gospel music CDs are at a very high demand making it a very good business. i will also bust my services of video shooting in weddings and graduation in school and colleges around and outside my town. thanks and blessed as you fill my bids.
