l am a resident of kiamaina area that is six kilometres from Nakuru town.Having completed my secondary school education and with no school fees to enroll me to college l opted for employment where my mother helped me secure a job from her friend who had a timber yard business in the area. After working for some years l got married and blessed with three children and later on my husband and l started a timber yard business since we had some knowlegde of the business. At first it was a challenge since we didn' have the required capital but with the help of our parents and securing a loan with the group we managed to add more stock and with time the business has grown.this has enabled us to educate our children and meet other family needs.
my business is located in Kiamaina area of Nakuru county just one kilometre from my home.l normally sell timber, offcuts and posts and mostly do source for the timber/trees from molo area since its easy to get hard wood from the area and l do supply most of the workshops within the area with the timber. My price is very competitive and this has enabled me to establish loyal based customers. Also due to lot of construction that is going in Nakuru and its environment this has created a lot of demand for the timber. The business gives me around ks 40,000 as net profit. If advanced with the loan this will enable me to add more stock to the business hence able to meet the demand of the my customers.
dear lenders am very glad to zidisha team for giving me this chance to join lenders all over the world. with this first loan, i will now be able to buy more stock in my business. during this season, i will be able to buy firewood in big quantity. this will boost my business. in our country this is rainy season. so the firewood is in a very high demand.
