My name is Hannah wanjiku mburu i was born in 1981 at ndefo village in njoro nakuru county i attended kihingo priary school and there after i joined michinda secondary school for my o levels. after school i joined rift valley institute for a course in catering. after completing i joined numerous hotel industries until when i decided to start self employment.i am blessed with 1 child a boy who is currently in std 4 at elina school in gilgil. I relocated to gilgil town in 2008 together with my family due to being misplaced by the infamous Kenyas post election violence, we lost almost everything including our house which was burnt down with all the furniture inside. i started a hotel business in gilgil and i was able to purchase a piece of land in kikopey estate and settled my family there. i look forward to be a zidisha member.

My Business

My business is located in gilgil town which is a relatively busy town. i specialize in making our African tradition food for the local community. this a one area of business with a very high demand due to the high number of inhabitants who frequent the town every day.many customers prefer to dine in my hotel because the food is cheaper and tastier this is given rise by the fact that i am a trained chef and i have employed two workers for better service and good profit margin the only challenge my business faces is due to luck proper modern equipment to make fast food like chips hamburgers. wafers hotdogs etc. With zidisha platform i will fulfill this dream as it has been my dream to satisfy my customers and also improve my profit margin for a better tomorrow.

    the last time i spoke to her she said that her income were going down due to business cycles of recession and depression but of late last and this month i have not got her through phone calls.she lives abit far this makes me abit challenged to reach her.vm boaz wakasiaka
