About Me

My names are Eliud Muchai Njenga. I am a resident of Kiptangwanyi. My parents live here and this is the place that I have been since I was born and thus I well known in this area. I am a born again Christian of the African Inland Church (AIC). I attended Muriricua Secondary School where I completed my primary school education. I started my business of Bodaboda some while ago in the year 2007. At this time the business was not that famous as people were used to using cart donkeys and bicycles were very common in most transportation works in this area. We were few when we started this but nowadays the business has so many operators. With a lot of experience in this business am well known and have my good customers and thus I love this business so much. With the business I have been able to purchase a piece of land that is plot number 21 at the shopping center. . I am intending to buy another motorcycle so that I have two. The other motorcycle I will hire an operator. I am positive that this will improve my revenues.

My Business

This business of Bodaboda is a business that I love and it is the first one I ventured into after my completion in school. We transport both human beings and goods from one place to another and charge depending on the distance traveled and the nature of goods being transported. I have been able to do so many things with the business and such as buying a piece of land, educating my family as well as taking care of the needs of my family. During the months of December the business was good and the returns for that month were high. I was able to purchase a cow from the returns. This will save my family the agony of purchasing every now and then. The main challenges that this business encounter are lack of enough capital to expand the business and poor roads especially during the rainy season.
This business has a great potential and thus I would like to use all available means and resources at my disposal to improve the status of this business. I know that the role Zidisha are playing in our society can never go unrecognized and thus the loan will be of great importance to me

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders, I intend to use my loan to open an outlet for selling motorcycle spareparts. Having been in the business of motorcycles for quite some time I have come to observe a great opportunity in selling of motorcycle spareparts which I would now like to venture in. This will boost and supplement the revenues I am getting from the bodaboda business.
