My name is Pauline wambui Gaitho I was born on 27th may 1982 at lanet in nakuru county. I joined mwareki primary school for my basic education. I later joined St Ann secondary school for my o levels. After school I went working with various employers on various fields. In 2008 in decided to start self employment I settled on selling second hand clothes. I had to start this business after I realized I needed more money to support my parents and my two children who are currently in upper primary school.
My business is located I n gilgil town in the rift valley of Kenya. I am specialized in selling second hand clothes. Gilgil is a busy town with a wide market for second hand clothes also known as MITUMBA in Kiswahili. This is because there are a lot of inhabitants in dare need of clothing. These clothes are usually sold in bales of between 15 to 25 kg depending on what is packed inside. I usually choose the items depending on the season. On cold spells I choose to sell heavy jackets on hot season, I sell t-shirts and light women tops. My customers prefer to buy from me because my clothes are cheaper and nit I usually buy my bales from direct importers in the city of Nairobi where they are cheaper. This makes me to give them a better bargain. The only challenge my business faces is luck of enough capital to stock better products but with zidisha platform I will be able to overcome all this obstacles.
Dear lenders much thanks to the entire zidisha team its a wonderful platform. i will now buy more bales of second hand clothes for sale to the staff in the near by flower farms this will increase my profit three fold hence giving me a chance to improve my living standard. i wish you Gods blessings as you make a crucial decision towards filling my bids.
