About Me

i
am a married lady with two children, john and jane.both of them are in
our local primary school.my husband is a police officer but posted far
away from home.i was born in this area and i was enrolled in my primary
education in std 1 in the year 1984.i completed my primary education in
the year 1991.i was enrolled in our local secondary school in the year
1992 and completed my secondary education in the year 1997 iwas
interested in going ahead but due to lack of enough funds and also i was
relying on my late grandmother .she passed away in the year 2000.i am
having a cosmetic and a salon business here at kiptangwanyi and the
business is going good because actually it is doing good and it is also
helping my family.i am looking after my children and they are doing good
in the local primary school we have been lenting the house for business
but now due to my past loan though the interest was a bit higher,i
decided to buy a plot and i have managed to build it with our loacal
materials.i am glad that if i get a loan from zidisha it might help me
in boosting my business as well as my family

My Business

my
business is located in kiptangwanyi trading centre.i started the
business in the year 2005.i decided to start the business to uplift my
living standard and also those of my little children.i started the salon
shop and it does well recently i managed to open a cosmetic shop which
is runed by my one worker.the business is doing quite good.i am planning
to get some funds from zidisha micro-finance and then i can be able to
buy some equipments whiche are usually used by our local salon shops.i
have paying some revenues of ksh.4,000per year.the first challenge i
have been facing is that during hot seasons this area is very dusty so
most of the ladies prefer not to make their hairs smart during those
seasons.i am planning to buy some machines for berber who will be
dealing with men hair.this will boost my business since i will put the
barbar in the same house together with my salon.this business is doing
well in this area because i usually earn from10,000 to 15,000 i will be
very happy if i get the loan from zidisha it will help me alot
kiptangwanyi is a very busy town and almost all tribes of people meet
here to buy their commodities in our town.so the business is in a higher
demand than supply

Loan Proposal

dear lenders with this first loan, i will buy more stock in my cosmetic and saloon shop so that i can serve more customers during this high season. i will also add a certain amount in my small hotel which serves more people. an hoping to do all the best in my business.i will buy diferent kinds of saloon materials so that i can attract more customers in my business. thanks so much all my lenders while funding my bids.
