About Me

I
was born i this area in the year 1975 at kiptangwanyi and i was the
fist born in our family.I started my primary education in the year 1981
at muriricua primary school.Muriricua primary schools is just next and
neighbor to me.I completed my primary education in the year 1988.I
joined nakuru high school in 1990 and completed my high school level in
1994 i did not proceed my education to college due to some reasons
that my parents had a very big burden of looking after the young
ones.I started the shop business since i had been employed earlier in
our local shop i got an experience from the shop i was employed i worked
at a certain wholesale here at kiptangwanyi for about three years.I
have been also been employed by kenya post and tele-communication before
it was off. I worked with the Kenya post and tele-communication for
four years here at kiptangwanyi and i afterwards i decided to start my
business and thats when i decided to to marry mrs Jane where she has
been so helful to my work.

My Business

I
own a shop at kiptangwanyi trading center just next to a market
place.my shop en tiles whole sale and retailed commodities from the shop
and due to this factor the shop is doing quite well in this area
although the competition is very high but challenging.i need a lot of
stock so as to serve many customers and to make sure that my goods are
readily available whenever they are need.one of the challenges which i
usually face here is that the mode of transporting goods to the area
is very difficult due to poor roads and infrastructure of our roads.I
used to pay a revenue of ksh 5000 per year for my business.this business
has enabled me to earn the living of my family and to educate my 2
children. sometimes the business goes down according to climate changes
in this seasons. This business of shop is doing well and it has alot of
goods which have a very high demand.I am planning to expand my
business if i get some funds from Zidisha micro-finance.the loan
will greatly help me because i will be able to add more stocks.

Loan Proposal

dear lenders, with this loan i will add more stock in my shop during this harvesting seasons. the demands of my shop commodities are in a very high demand so i need a lot of stock to serve more customers. iwill also open another small shop in the near by trading centre. my vision is to serve alot of customers in this area.since this town is growing very fast, i will add more and more new commodities to attract most of the customers.
