About Me

I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 43km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am married with four children. I live in plot number 20 at the shopping center where I carry out my business with my family. My business entails a butchery at the shopping center. I sell livestock meat in my butchery to residents of Kiptangwanyi shopping center

My Business

My business entails the a butchery at the shopping center. I buy livestock from farmers and slaughter them for sale in my butchery. The business is profitable especially during holidays and when we have festive seasons such as Easter and during Christmas. The main challenges that this business encounters are lack of finance to frequently shortage of supplies especially during the dry season and drought which affects consumers purchasing power.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,
I am grateful to get this opportunity to apply a loan with Zidisha. I would like to use my loan to purchase some livestock especially goats and sheep for slaughtering during the Christmas festive. At this time the demand for meat is very high and sometimes I suffer acute shortage of supplies and my business is affected negatively. This time I want to buy them in advance and keep them for them purpose of the festive season.

Some feedback (from Kelvin Savala?) would be nice to find out what happened after the vehicle accident that caused John's business to go down.

    Dear lenders,
I wish to take this opportunity to reschedule my zidisha loan repayment and request for two more months. The vehicle that I use to transport meat to town got an accident and this made my business to go down. My revenues declined and thus interfered with my normal repayment of my loan. I hope to resume once my business stabilizes again.

      Dear John,

Sorry to hear that you got into an accident. Are you alright? It's okay to take things slowly; what matters most is that you're safe and sound.

"it doesn't matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop" - Confucius
