About Me

I am 32yrs old, married with 2 kids, one in pre unit school. I am a graduate teacher in a public school called Muriricua Secondary School in kiptangwanyi trading centre. I teach Mathematics and Business studies. I reside in Kiptangwanyi shopping centre which is about 42 km from Nakuru town. I am a tenant in plot number 102 house number 1.

My Business

My business entails the sale of hardware materials. I sell cement, paints, roofings, iron sheets, wheelbarrows and other building and construction materials. There is very high demand of these commodities since Nakuru is a fast growing town and the demand for housing is very high. This has increased the demand for building and construction materials. I purchase my goods from Nairobi at a relatively lower price hence my customers prefer my goods as I sell to them at a relatively lower prices. The main challenges that my business encounter are insufficient capital, high transport costs and fluctuating prices of commodities. Currently I am using my income and earnings to expand my business.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,
I would like to use my second loan to furthers expand my business by purchasing more stock for my hardware shop. With more funding the business is promising in terms of profitability. The first loan did help me alot a and the revenues I am getting from the business has increased. I therefore would like to thank the lenders for their continued support and promise to be more aggressive in expanding the business with my second loan.

      Hi Simon,
Sorry to hear that business is slow. I also understand that you have other, personal priorities that require money. Zidisha lenders are a kind and caring people who want to see our Zidisha partners succeed.
Given that understanding, I recommend that you continue to make steady monthly payments, even if they are small. That will go far to demonstrate your good faith for future loans.
Wishing you well in pursuit of your PM-MSC! Marvin

Zidisha microfinance has passed the litmus test and this cannot go unmentioned that this is the only in the world that cares for its members keeps the needs of the members as the first priority. Personally I can confess that my life has really changed since I joined Zidisha. My hardware business has significantly improved and I make good revenue from the business. I can now give good education to my two sons. I am also working hard to make sure that I always repay my loan on time. May God bless Zidisha family forever.

I would like to take this opportunity to reschedule my loan repayment and wish to repay all my outstanding balance at once. It is pleasure to do this as my business is doing well at this moment. I am humbled that Zidisha has played a very important role in my life and I am in a position that would otherwise have been very difficult to arrive. Long live Zidisha microfinance and may God bless Zidisha family always.

    Dear Lenders,
I would like to reschedule my loan repayment. The reason for doing this is because my business has not picked on well since I invested all the loan that I got in the business and thus I would need some more time. I am positive that by the end of the two months it will have picked on well and when I start repaing I will not have any hindrances.

HI all zidisha lenders.I wish to thank you all for partnering with me in my Hardware business. My second loan came in the opportune moment, other than buying additional Hardware materials, I was able to set up an M-pesa agency which I have now operated for two weeks within the same premise . I found it necessary because it complements the Hardware business.Thank all Zidisha lenders and God bless you all.
