About Me

my
names are john kimani son of Nduati. My father died in early 1970s and
my mother also passed away in 1989.I hailed from riftvalley province
Gilgil district Mitimingi location Elementaita sublocation.I am
practicing dairy farming and i am a real resident of kiptangwanyi and i
own plot number 1146.I am married with mrs.jane and we are blessed with
two boys and both of them are in secondary school.I am expecting the
older one to complete his high school educatoin next year.I am very
much struggling to educate my children to higher college.I lived in a
place called Molo and this is the place where my father lived in his own
land after we were victimized by election clashes.I decided to move
together with my family at a place called kiptangwanyi that was the
year 1990.I have been living in this area for the first 19 years and
this place is very productive and also very peaceful.I am a mechanic by
profession but since this place consist of few cars to repair i decided
to leave the job first and joined the rest of the farmers to practice
dairy farming in this area.

My Business

I
started the business of repairing some cars at kiptangwanyi trading
center after shifting my family from Molo to kiptangwanyi.as time moves
on i found that the business of repairing vehicles was in low demands
and i decided with my family that we could start practicing dairy
farming i bought a local cow for production of milk in the year 2000.By
then we were selling the milk to the local villagers in litres the cow
was able to produce 3 to 4 litres per day.I the year 2005 i decided to
change the breed and i bought a jersey breed which would produce 10 to
15 liters of milk.I found that it was fair for my dairy and i bought
another one in the year 2007.In the year 2008 a certain company was
introduced in this area and the company was Brookside ltd this company
helped the farmers to keep more productive breeds of cattle. The company
is buying the milk in bulks at a very good price.currently i am having 3
dairy cattles which produce 60 liters of milk dairy. This business has
helped my family in a very big manner and i am getting the school fees
from my dairy and also assist me in earning the living of my family.I am
planning to get a loan from zidisha and buy another one dairy.

Loan Proposal

dear lenders, this loan from zidisha will help me in upgrading the type of dairy cow i have been willing i will buy a good and productive cow which will produce much milk.the milk im producing now is abit little im planning to sell the milk in large quantity iusually sell the milk to our local company called brookside the millk will also help my family in home use we are selling the milkin bulks also the remaining amount will help me in making a good construction for my dairy cows im in need of suppling alot of milk even to the rest of our community.

dear lenders , am sorry i have been late for sometimes. i was not in a position to make my repayments on time. my firstborn son was to join nairobi university last month. this made me not to make my loan repayments on time. on the other hand, my dairy cows are doing well but with little supply of milk. i hope at the end of this month , more milk will be available since two cow is about to give birth. this will help me in making my repayments without any problem.
