About Me

I am 41 years old, married with seven children who are all schooling. two are in high school while the remaining five are in primary school. I live in kiptangwanyi which is about 41 km from Nakuru town. I live in my plot which is plot number 14 in the kiptangwanyi shopping center. I am not formally employed and have been meeting my family needs through various manual work that i have been doing here and there. This prompted me to start the business of a hotel that i have been operating since 2006.

My Business

My business entails operating a hotel in kiptangwanyi shopping center. I sell fast foods and drinks in my hotel. I started this business after I realized the potential of this business in this area. My target was high school and primary school children who were and still are very good customers of my business. customers prefer buying from my business as I provide quality and clean food. I also ensure that my food is always fresh and this promotes my business so much. the risks that my business face are shortage of supplies and drought which affects our sources of the foodstuffs that i make.Currently I am using my earnings to expand my business to other neighbouring kiptangwanyi shopping centre.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders,
This third loan that I will get from Zidisha organization, I will furnish my business premises. The paints are not very good and thus would like to use some part of the loan to paint well and also do some maintenance places which are not good at all. This will make the business look new and I will attract more customers.

    Dear Lenders,
I wish to reschedule my loan repayment for the moment. I have not been able to raise the weekly amount and therefore do wish to reduce the amount to a minimum of 500 ksh monthly which I am looking forward to be able to weekly. This has been attributed to a decline in the amount of income that I raise daily. I am hoping this will be a better amount for me.

    Dear Lenders,
I wish to take this opportunity to thank zidisha for what wonders the loan has done to my business. Thanks to all the people who have generously made their hard earned income to uplift my business and entirely my whole life. My son; Christopher who had been diagnosed with Arthritis has improved tremendously although he is still under medication and attending clinic every month.
My business is still improving and I am looking forward to completing this loan and immediately apply for another one. I do believe that as the next loan will be bigger, I will be able to invest much better and reap better profits and eventually improve my life and that of my whole family.

Thanks and God bless you all.

    Peter Njoroge.

My son known as Christopher Kiema was diagnosed with Arthritis five months ago. He was treated but then instructed to be attending clinic on 6th of every month. As a result, I have found it difficult to take care of the medical expenses and also servicing my loan. Within the one month grace period, I believe that I will have sorted myself out and be in a position to pay my installments with ease. Thanks and God bless you.

dear lenders. I hope this finds you well. I am doing well and my business too is doing fine. I am very proud of Zidisha organization. They have come to our aid especially for us small scale businesses. The loan that I got from Zidisha assisted me so much in expanding my business. I am almost through in repaying my loan and would like to get another one. May God bless Zidisha lenders and long live Zidisha.
