About Me

l was born in Nakuru county and studied in kimathi primary school and later joined nakuru high school where l studied up to form two.since l was the first born in our family and my parents didn;t have a stable income to provide for me and my five silblings l dropped out of school to help my parents in doing manual jobs to make ends meets.later my uncle introduced me to cereal business where l started with ksh 700 in the year 1995.This enabled me to buy two bags of maize that l sold to my neighbours at a profit of ksh 300,which enabled me buy more bags.l re invested the money back to the business and later l started supplying the maize to the Eastern part of the country.am married with four children and this business has enabled me to educate my children and provide for my family.

My Business

mostly l buy maize and beans from the farmers at a low price and do transport them to eastern part which includes machakos and mwingi and in wholesale, the price of maize ranges from ksh 900 to 1200 depending with the season and make a profit of ksh 500 per bag.and as for beans l normally buy at a price of kshs 2200 and make make a profit of kshs 700 per bag. The business is good in the eastern part since the area is dry and produce very little food.there is no much risk of the business since the cereals are long staple food.if advanced the loan this will boost me in buying the stock after the may harvest.

Loan Proposal

dear my lenders. am so greatful to zidisha organization for giving me this chance to join lenders from all corners of the world. with this first loan, i will add more stock in my cerial shop, so that i can be able to serve more customers. am planning to repay the loan in a very short time, so that i can be able to borrow at least a high amount of money to boost my business. during this season, in our country its high time to sell seeds to farmers who are planting maize and beans.so i will try my best to repay this loan before time.
