My names are Angeline Nyapeno and my friends call me Angellah. I am the only child from my mother's womb. I have three children.
I went to school up to the college level. I got employed and worked for seven years and was then retrenched.
Life outside was not so good, and the same year my mum passed on, so things were really difficult, being that my daughter was also a first-year in the university. But I thank God that I saw her through and she graduated.
I sell foodstuff: I serve breakfast, lunch, and supper in my restaurant, and I also sell take-away meat and chicken. Food is a day-to-day consumption that we all need in our lives, and because I also like cooking, I chose to operate a restaurant. The cost of my food is affordable.
Before I started this business, I adopted two children who were left orphans after both their parents died, so after my work, the profit I get helps me to pay their school fees, feed all of us, and also it helps me to restock my products, of which through that I managed to start now the butchery.
With the loan I will buy a deep freezer for the storage of food like chicken sausages meat, and others. The cost is kshs 25000 it is a smaller one but will manage to keep the required items.
My names are Angeline Nyapeno and I am so happy to be a member of zidisha and I thank my lenders that have been trusting me with their money of which I do repay back, once more thank you very much my lenders and Zidisha team. Because of Zidisha team I have managed to better my life and those of my kids, through the interest I get from my business, am able to pay their school fee and cater for their needs and mine too. I am also happy because at least three people that I have employed are also benefiting. Once more I say thank you and be blessed.
I started with a restaurant if which I am cooking and selling food to customers, I sell my food at a very affordable price. From the savings I managed to start a butchery where I buy and sell beef it is still functional and I also do outside catering. Recently I started a small boutique where I sell second hand and new clothes I also sell maasai sandals. And am happy I hope to prosper and get a bigger place one day.
With the loan I will buy a deep freezer for the storage of food like chicken sausages meat, and others. The cost is kshs 25000 it is a smaller one but will manage to keep the required items.
