About Me

I was born in Kroasu, a village of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. My father who was the bread winner of the family was a night watchman in one of the government's organisations. I had my basic and secondary school in the Western Regional Capital, Sekondi- Takoradi. My parents were peasant farmers, three square meal was something I never enjoyed during my infancy and cost of education was also unbearable by my parents. Am proud to say that I manage to break that circle by coming out with flying colours at the Basic Education Certificate Examination, which gave me the opportunity to enjoy the Governments scholarship to read Business at the secondary education level. Having had my eduacation in the Metropoly, I have come to realise the world is driven by information, ideas and intelligence. I am now back in my village to help provide knowledge in Information Communication Technology to my people. I am doing this because the only tool that would help man achieve quality in the shortest time is computer. The people of my Village are glad to see this because its the first of this kind.

My Business

I am providing tuition in Information and Communication Technology to the residence of Kroasu. This is soo essential in everyday work. As the demand of human changes, there arise the need for new ways of doing things. Knowledge in computing is a basic necessity of man. Am motivated to do this because its the only way my community can develop to meet the needs of the twenty-first century. Its a little expensive to do such business here in the part of the world, am glad to have the help of my parents and my family providing their royalty to assist and make my dream come true. The fixed cost includes the electricity bill, property tax etc and the cost of maintaining the computers as the current cost. My source of revenue is the fees students pay to access this facility. I would use this money I get from your outfit to buy more computers and a projector

Loan Proposal

Due to the regular power fluctuations, sudden power out and power schedules (Dumso) in Ghana, it has made it difficult for one to predict when their lights will go off. This sudden power cut has broken down some computers.
I will use the loan to buy extra desktop computer and stabiizer for my ICT centre. Three computers have already broken down because of this. The buying of extra computer and stabiizers will prevent the breakdown of the computers. I will need about $120 a desktop computer and a stabilizers
Since the main device used in teaching and learning at the centre are computers, the breakdown of these computers will interrupt classes and will truncate my dream of helping children within my village becoming computer literate.
The buying of stabilizers prevent breakdown of the ICT tools and will help attract more children at the centre and will give parents a reason to pay their wards school fees. Academics will only be effective when the computers are up and running.
