About Me

I am Wanjiru, I am also a mother to a lovely son and a second born in a family of four, I was born in nyahururu, by peasant parents who struggled to educate me, I worked hard in our three acre farm on weekends and holidays to support my parents to make heads meet, I grew up in an unsafe environment where we were regularly attacked by the kalenjins who stole our livestock, it is due to this heed I grew up wanting to be a policeman so as I could control and implement security measures in our homestead, after completion of my highschool in the year 2003 I really tried tirelessly to join the police forces 3 times without much success but due to the undying passion to join the forces i was recruited in the year 2006 but I was posted in Kiambu county, kikuyu area, so I had to relocate to serve the people and country of Kenya.

My Business

After completion of my Olevel education i joined police forces in the year 2006 as a police Constable in Kiambu county, Kikuyu police station, it is due to the passion I had since I was that led me to be a police officer, besides being a police officer i own a motorbike spare parts shops where I have employed my cousin who runs the business in my absence, I earn a salary of 300 us dollars per month, and I get a profit of 150 us dollars from the business, I use the profit to grow the business and cater for the daily needs as well as pay school fees for my son.

Loan Proposal

I thank the Zidisha team for giving me the opportunity to post my loan, I will use the cash to do wiring in my shop, this will enable the shop to be open in the night hours and I believe this will increase the profit.. I will buy wiring cables of 8 us dollars and pay the electrician 4 us dollars..
So I kindly ask lenders to help me grow my business.
