About Me

I am the last of 9 children. come from a relatively poor family, i am the only one among the 9chldren to have had secondary education(not because my older siblings didn't want to further, but my parents couldn't simply afford). After secondary education, it was up to myself to take on life. O enrolled in a radio presentation school since that has been a childhood dream. I used to sell kenkey with my mom to help finance the radio school education in cape coast. After radio school, i traveled up to upper east where with a stroke of luck, i got a radio station to work with. I must say that they paid very little which dint take away much of my hardship. I choose to start my own business after i realized that, management of the radio station are not willing to increase my salary. Witha wife and daughter to take care of, it simply wise i look for an alternative income. Leaving in upper east (zebilla) has been a blessing. Things are not so expensive here so the little you get you can save some. I have always dreamt of being a radio presenter.

My Business

I own an alcohol wholesale business. I seel alcoholic beverages in boxes or cartins to drinking spot operators. I realised that, there are so many drinking spot in my location yet they all travel far for instance to bawku, bolga, tamale or even kumasi to buy their products, so i decided to bring the market very close to them by setting up the wholesale shop. and lot of the drinking spot operators really appreciate my effort. The problem however is, because i dont have enough capital, i cant get all the assorted drinks that most of this drinking spot will love to buy hence they will still have to travel same distance to get the rest of the product. My typical cost is pegged around 1100GHS and i make a profit of 100GHS after successful sale of all the product which at times becomes difficult . With the profit i make I divide it into 3, save one for the company, send some to my aged parents at home and use the rest to cater for my wife and family

Loan Proposal

Am going to reinvest the money into my drink shop. Over the past months, Zidisha has been very helpful. I can write a whole essay on the benefit is going to bring to me and my young family.
