About Me

I am an ordinary Kenyan born and raised in a humble background in the rural Rift Valley region. I grew up in both rural and urban settings under care of my granny. In the year 2007 my life and those of others was overturned by post-poll violence in Kenya. My family lost everything in the ethnic war and we've had to start all over again since then. Having been a brilliant person in school, my dreams and future were shattered.

I now reside in Burnt Forest town where I have reinvented my life and tried to earn through hard work despite misfortunes in the past. I work as a self employed videographer, motion designer and a small businessman to try and make ends meet.

My Business

I have involved myself in many businesses having failed to secure a job in my country after college. I own a small mobile money transfer shop (Started with previous Zidisha loan) and I also work as a videographer, photographer.

Loan Proposal

I plan to add this amount to my current e-float. To operate a mobile money transfer shop in Kenya, the minimum required amount is $400. I am currently operating with $200 which poses a risk to my business. Its also reflective of monthly comission paid to me by telco providers.
