About Me

My name is Elvis Daniel Wakhungu. I was the last born in my family. My education has been an interesting one, having been born in a family of eight siblings where I am one of the last born twins. I went through difficulty growing up and schooling because our father who was the family bread winner lost his job. None of my siblings was and even is now in a good job. My twin brother and I together have struggled through school, and what has kept us going is our priority which is to make it at the highest level of education. My twin brother and I did our secondary education in 2011. I missed the university entry point by three points and, ever since, have had difficulty staying in an institution of higher learning due to lack of funds to finance it. That is why I am seeking help from Zidisha to raise money for my school fees. I like swimming during my free time.

My Business

I am seeking school fees to help me pay an institution of higher learning. I am now doing casual jobs through which I have managed to raise 45% of the amount I am in need of. I yet am unable to hit the target amount I require. That is why I was happy when I was introduced to Zidisha because I know this is a platform where I can borrow and pay back little by little. I know I will continue with my casual jobs as I take the courses. In the future I would like my children to venture into Agri- Business as I have realized it is beneficial to not only oneself but the entire community. There are a lot of gaps in the society and, unless young people are educated, poverty will be the order of the day in many different societies today.

Loan Proposal

I will finance my education because i want to continue learning and gain more knowledge that will help me to be a self reliance person few years coming.
Through education i have a dream to start and manage my own business which i may open opportunities to other young people in this country and even globally.I may also help to finance the education of those bright people who cannot finance their own education.I would like also to be a mentor to many who have lost hope in their lives and use my story to help them understand that life is all about how you make it and how you endure the pain that comes your way because those pain in life are just but a ladder to your success story.My main aim after finishing my degree studies is to to help eradicate poverty in this country especially to rural areas by helping young men to know their talents.

About Me

My Names are Elvis Daniel Wakhungu. Last Born in the family of Eight.
So far so good i have completed my Certified Public Accounts (C.P.A) and am going on with my online degree studies that am still really relying on my family.
Everyone in our family wants to further his/her studies from my elder brother to me the last born. My twin brother has successfully completed his degree at Masinde Muliro University where he was taking Bsc Disaster Management and Mitigation and Sustainable all thanks to Zidisha. Am so grateful for what you have done to me because it gave our family to prioritize on my twin brother as the loan helped me on the other hand. I still need your assistant especially on completing my degree and become the first person in our family and community at large holding both a degree and a CPA.

My Business

When i first joined Zidisha i never knew i will come this far. Thank you very much. Am still needing your help now that am looking for a good job that will help me pay my loan in time after completing my C.P.A. I want to continue with my studies up to Phd level and also am thinking of starting my own business in town. C.P.A has given me the opportunity to socialize with powerful business men and women on different platform hence exposing me to different skills and tha's why i want to complete my studies as soon as possible to start my business and compete globally. I need a loan that will help me to finish my education.
