Am Beatrice Sande aged 24years .My parents were not able to cater for our food and education and therefore I was forced to stay with my uncle in Nairobi who was taking care of me . For sure my uncle was very caring and understanding but his wife never wanted me to stay with them.
I joined form one the same year with my uncle's daughter. I tell you things became turf for me because I was performing well than my cousin(my uncles daughter.) The aunt dint like it and started giving me all household duties while her daughter was relaxing. The aunt had to wake me up at 4.00am to do some washing and prepare breakfast while they were a sleep. I continued prying God until my fourth year when I did my K.C.S.E .when results were out I came out successful than the daughter. The aunt made sure my uncle not to pay for my college fees.I went back to my parents and later started a small business in Nairobi through small capital from my husband.
I have one child aged 2years.
I run M-pesa and sell chicken eggs, Baby diapers and fresh water. The goods and services have a big demand because not alot of people who are selling them. Water is not yet supplied to the area but i fetch from a nearby market 1km away .
I earn a profit of ksh 400 per day from both services and goods.
the profit helps me meet costs like rent ,electricity and food. The remaining profit I use to buy more stock for my shop .
I will buy 3 crates of eggs at $10 per crate x 3 =1020
it will be as a result of expansion of my business and hence will bring more income
i expect to make a profit of $1 from the three crates .Since they move very quickly i will be able to sell them very fast and restock more.
my customers will get eggs readily available and this willl save them time and money because they wount be travelling long distances in order to buy eggs.
