I am a 40year old man married with 2 children.I was born in Nyeri and i attended my primary school there.I later joined Muhoho secondary and cleared in the year 1994.I went to where i attended a course on electrical installation. In the 1997 i started installation to individuals, installation and companies. My business idea came up in 2010 which was due to raising demand of installation and to cut my cost i took my savings for 5years and started an electrical appliances shop to supplement my job. This grew with time and in 2013 i introduced an Mpesa agent as Kayole is densily populated and mobile money transfer is in high demand. My son would want to become a quantity surveyor and my daughter would want to become a doctor,
My business supplies electrical appliances to the constructors and to me whenever i have a contract.Mpesa offers mobile transfer services to the locals. These goods are in high demand as many individuals are constructing their houses as well as replacement of the worn out ones.I choose this business to meet the raising needs of electrical appliances and mobile transfer money services as Kayole is holds high population. My major costs are Rent and inventory since my wife supports me by working there. My profit is spent in reinvestment ,education for my two children and home improvement.
I wish to use my loan to purchase inventory such as bulbs, holders, sockets, switches and electrical wires equivalent to $95.This on a normal cycle of the month of buying and selling will raise a revenue of $233.The loan is likely to improve my income by $130 after apportioning fixed cost. The loan will boost confidence to my customers since it will be a one stop shopping spot for electrical appliances and will improve my life by increasing my rewards. My current monthly revenue is $623 for electrical appliances and $222 for the Mpesa commission. My avarage monthly total cost is $405 and it is expected after being funded my profit will raise to $570 per month. My hope is to grow with Zidisha to expand my business to other areas to an asset base of $15000.Thank you
