About Me

I am Humphrey Kagai . I grew up in Kenya , in Nakuru county, I am 43 years old.
Having completed my primary and secondary education, I attended a polytechnic where I learnt about electrical installation work .
I then searched for a employment but I could not get a place.
I therefore decided to start looking for electrical installation and repair works in my area. I have been straggling to do this activity which gets me some income.
With zidisha funds I have began to sell and supply some materials, while I do the installation work

My Business

I have been able to expand my business, now that I have been funded by zidisha.
I bought more useful tools to use in my work, as well as some materials, that are needed for repair.
I have added one more person to help in the installation work.
The business is getting up and profits have increased steadily.
I thank zidisha team for the funding and support they have given me

Loan Proposal

Once I receive the loan I plan to purchase fuses,circuit breakers, top plugs, coils for electric cookers, socket outlets, power switches, 20 rolls of electric cables all worth $ 400 so that expected sale goes up by $200. I hope to employ one more technical personnel to assist in electrical repairs.

    the business is very low because of the high cost of living, I am experiencing low profits since as an election year with uncertainty many people tend to postpone what activities they had planned, i am willing to repay less , so that repay the installments in time, weekly.

    I will buy 15 consumer units, $ 150, 8 pieces of AVS-30A , $ 240, 30 pieces of 13A power sockets, $ 75. A metal conduit bender, $ 650. and 15pieces electric cooker coils. $75.
    I will introduce people I find trustworthy in may community.
    I will do my best to pay the loan in good time.

    I am very grateful for this loan, my business has improved very much.
    I bought 30 circuit breakers for KS. 5,000, Top plugs for KS 3,000,
    Cooker coils for SH. 15,000, 25 Rolls of cable for KS. 87,000.

    I thank my lenders very much, they have assisted me in my business, helped me to create employment and add more tools to my electrical business.
    I purchased a ladder ($285) which will help me to save the cost of hiring one, It will help in sites where we have to install fittings at some height like in go downs, workshops, and multi purpose halls, which are above fifteen feet in height.
    I also purchased bending machine ($ 105) this will assist in bending metal conduit used in factory installations.
    Zidisha team has real changed my life and that of my family.
