About Me

My name is Assane Kafando, and my village, Zangogo, is near Kombissiri, in the Bazèga province. I am the youngest child in a family of about thirty children, all from the same father. He is a retired accountant, and my mother is a housewife. They live in Kombissiri while I am pursuing my studies in Toécé, not far from Kombissiri. Daily life with my family is not easy, that is why I put a priority on my studies. Nonetheless, I started a rabbit-breeding business, currently run by my mother, which allows me to earn money to help my parents. I converted to Christianity several years ago and am learning to play guitar in the choral music group of my church during this vacation.

My Business

During my last vacations, I made a contract with a friend that allowed each of us to earn roughly 5000F, that is to say around $10. With my part, I bought a couple of rabbits, one male and one female, each for 1500F, that is to say $3. Since then, the female has already given birth 5 times. I was able to sell the first baby rabbits to buy school stationeries for the new academic year. The demand for rabbits exceeds the offer. What's more, Kombissiri is located not too far away from the capital city, where the sale of rabbits to hotels and inns is very profitable. That is why, with the help of Zidisha, I intend on launching my business. Thanks in advance to Zidisha for giving me this opportunity.

Loan Proposal

I currently have three females, one male and nine babies. Each female gives birth to two babies, with a one to two months interval. With the money I will earn, I will invest in an appropriate business premise, which will require the purchase of a bag of cement, at around 12 500F, that is to say $25, and a few bricks of perpend, at 100F each, that is to say about $5 in total. The rest of the money will be used to purchase sweet potatoes and vegetables to feed the rabbits. The sale of two rabbits in the capital city will allow me to repay my loan monthly. Thanks in advance to Zidisha.

About Me

My Business

Hello, __Je am very happy for my loan financing. As soon as I take possession of my money, I"ll buy 30 guinea fowl in the amount of approximately $ 120, $ 100 for their food, not to mention veterinary care for around $ 30. The rest will be used for my little needs .__ So in 5-6 months I can start selling 2/3 to buy new guinea fowl. The remaining 1/3 will start to lay eggs for sale. Part of the eggs will be used for family consumption .__ I thank the team and all Zidisha lenders, particularly Mr Paul Graham for his confidence. I will do everything I can to earn that trust.

Dear lenders ____ as a volunteer coach Assane Kafando, I ask you to trust him again. He made all his payments on time and even ahead of some of its payments with revenues from sales of his rabbits. It is eligible for the contest of the national police but certainly when final admission his mother continue to take care of his guinea fowl. It may also make a good comeback at the police school. Thank you for your support.

With the money I received during the holidays, I paid for my mathematics course and I also paid for the little rabbits my friends raised. Tomorrow October 1 is the start of school, and I just sold the rabbits for 100,000 f ($200) to prepare for my return to class and I retained a portion of the money to pay my loan installments in advance as I must join Toécé for studies. I also paid for my tuition and supplies. I'll pay the rest of the loan in two installments. I thank my lenders.
