About Me

I am Margaret, born in Kitale, where I went for my primary school education, then went to Kitale Girls Secondary. I overcame my challenges by being fully into the Christian life as my parents were believers. I started my business because after my secondary education I started helping my elder sister in embroidery because I had interest and that is what I do now. I live in Gilgil, which is a very dry place. My children want to be a journalist and the other one wants to be a clergy. The rest are still very young. Being quiet at home when free.

My Business

I provide tablecloths, loose covers and curtains in shops and institutions, because they make profit. It pays me and my customers are happy with my work. Total cost per month is 40 to 50 Kenya shillings. By reinvestment in business and buying materials, a small upkeep because I am married and he takes care of the rest.

Loan Proposal

I will buy materials worth 150 dollars and threads worth 50 dollars. I will expand and have new designs and good sales for my business which can give me new customers. This money can give me a profit of about 100 to 150 dollars
