I grew up in a village at a time when the sole bread winner in the family had lost his job. I had therefore to sell eggs and home-grown vegetables to pay for my monthly/termly assessments. I started rearring chicken when I was in grade five and bought my first sheep when I was in the sixth grade: this later helped me to pay my fees and other levies in my schooling.
I am currently under-employed as a teacher in a private primary school. I also run a small business assisted by my wife. I sell charcoal, processed milk and eggs. My source of income is derived from the proceeds of the business and my monthly salary.
I intent to purchase an energy saving brazzier for use in food preparation at my food kiosk. The brazzier goes for about US$ 25. This should increase my profit margin by reducing my operational costs. This is also aimed at increasing customer satisfaction as the brazzier does not emit smoke that may contaminate food.
