About Me

My name is Festus Kibore, currently an IT student at Jomo Kenyatta University in Nakuru, i went to Highlands Primary school and Nakuru High school for my secondary education.
I was born and raised in a family of four and i was the only boy in the family being the first born, i had to be a role model to my young ones. I therefore had to work extra hard to realize my goals. i used to make savings of the little money that my parents gave me as pocket money right from high school with a believe that one day i will start my own business. I made good saving and thus after joining campus, studied there for a period of one year, i did a thorough research and settled on a business that i can run will still studying.
With the savings that i made therefore, i used the money to start up a cyber cafe inside our school. I made a bid for a tender and got lucky. I won the tender and this enabled me start the business.
The most unique thing with our land is the fact that many youths are rapidly embracing technological changes. The world now at our land is revolving around online operations ranging from the use of facebook, emails, whats up, Imo, twitter, instagram among other social media platforms.

My Business

I started running the cyber cafe three months ago after winning the tender. I therefore have a cyber cafe inside the school compound at the students center where i offer the following services, type setting, project writings, cyber services like browsing, printing, photocopying, use of wifi among others.
This services are useful because with the students population, the use of the internet is quite vital because the learn a lot from the internet, they also need to make research on certain topics online. We also print handouts for students. This therefore greatly increases the demand of our services.
i decided to do this business because it is part of my career and also the demand for the services inside the school was quite high. This encouraged me to start up the cyber business.
For the past three months, i have been making profits and largely the profits that i get have been reinvested into the business because i want to make it the biggest cyber around. The first months profit, i used it to do some painting inside the premise to enhance its appearance, currently, i have made some savings that i want ton use in addition to the loan to buy a bigger printer.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for this forum, i will use the loan to buy an Epson printer. It goes for 100 Us dollars. With 5 Us dollars, i will make an additional of 95 Us dollars from my savings and buy the printer.
It will benefit me because with the printer, i can be in a position to print many papers as opposed to the current printer that i am using. This will help me make more money and thus build on my cyber cafe as well as work with zidisha by meeting schedule payments and advancing higher loans.
I expect to increase my profits by a very higher percentage. The machine will do a couple of work ranging from printing, photocopy, printing of photos and so on. Therefore my profits can increase by 50%
