About Me
My name is Elizabeth Alex. I am a married mother of 3 children aged between 10 and 3 years. I was born in Kitui - Kenya and I spent my childhood years in school while at the same time helping my parents with their daily chores. I would occasionally help them in their farming activities.
I got married shortly after finishing my secondary school education and I now live in Mombasa with my family.
My Business
I run a beauty parlor in my estate where I offer a wide range of services such as hair care, pedicure and manicure. I have been running this business for the last 5 years and I have watched it grow by leaps and bounds.
I serve about 10 clients daily. I use the income to run my family budget.
Loan Proposal
I want to branch off to training in beauty therapy. I am hoping to start with a small group of 4 students where I will train them and later put them under an internship program. I need more equipment to make this happen and the money from this loan will make this possible.
I will buy 3 more driers, 4 sets of protective equipment and an assortment of other accessories needed to do the training.
This will be a major milestone in my business journey and it has always been my dream to take this business to that level.

My business is still running despite the pandemic. We have largely learnt to live with it and we are almost hitting pre-corona income levels. With this new initiative, I am hoping to get even more income.
