About Me

My name is Dickson Mintah a 28 years old married man. I started education from a very good preparatory school came out with good basic education certification results and had the opportunity to study in one of Ghana’s renowned high schools called saint thomas aquinas and offer general science. I entered in nursing college which am a professional nurse now. I studied very hard in college because I am the only sibling among my family who had the opportunity to be educated because I was brilliant in school. I even had the opportunity to travel abroad in 2012 to Sweden and studied at the Red Cross university and had the best score in global health studies among my peers in class. All my life I wanted to become a medical doctor but financial constraints became a big bad stambling block.
I am also good in barbering. Something I was doing for fun and friends in high school. And through the little money I had from work, I have been able to establish a barbering shop to help me gain more financial power to fend for my two kids and wife. I really want to get more equipments to better my shop and make it a big time one.

My Business

I am a nurse by profession and a very good and talented barber. I was advised a fellow good barber who saw my hand works and congratulated me and stressed that I should set up a shop because i cannot only depend on my professional work. I have been able to acquire land mount a shop and buy some few equipments. Lightening system here in Ghana has been somewhat up and down so when the light goes out, am not able to work so get myself a mini stand by generated would help when the power becames a problem. Profits gained would be used to further my education to become a medical doctor

Loan Proposal

since power fluctuations is a problem in my country, i would want to purchase a disel generator at a cost of 1173USD to help improve productivity and would also want to buy a very durable UV equipment sterilizer at a cost of 500USD since its an equipment that most barbering shops in my locale lack so as to prevent infection and a comfortable chairs for waiting clients and customers which could also amount to 1000USD
