About Me

My name is Melleniah and I am an artist. I curve, paint and draw designs of a variety of things in my town. I am a sole proprietor of a small stall that I use as my shed of conducting my business. I am a form four leaver who is yet to join university and this business is mainly meant to help me raise my fees since I will sponsor myself if I get there soon. Art is my hobby and has in turn been my hobby and helped me have the little savings in the process. This business of arts is one i chose because there was nobody else conducting a similar business around and as such it made me confident to start this business here. So far, I have always managed to purchase a small stock of paint, colors and the materials i need in the process of my work. Sometimes I an called upon to paint walls, write signboards and even showcase my work to various interested people in my community. This has always encouraged me a lot and made me work harder each day to achieve the little legitimate cash that I can.

My Business

Since my business is still so small and serving a small populace, I am offering my services at a small fee considering the status of the individuals i am dealing with. For example, children stuff would go for a lower price as compared to adult-oriented paintings and other commercial-oriented goods. This makes me not to ave a specific channel set for charging my services because furthermore there is absolutely no competing business here, but the least i can take is as described below:
A drawing of approximately 12 by 30 centimeters goes for not less than 2.00USD
Writing is charged depending on the weight and size of the individual characters and the least is 0.1USD.
Carvings are at a flat rate of 5.5USD
All these combined, in a week can attract a minimum of 23.76USD in a good week of sales. This makes me confident that i will be able to repay the loan promptly if i get the chance of acquiring it.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy paint, drawing pens, brushes and ink, then expand my kiosk to enable me accommodate more of my arts, at the same time work even trough the night in times of high demand. This business will not only make e stable and independent but may also create opportunity to other interested artists who would want to learn. Through it, i will be giving back to the society too

I take this opportunity to sincerely thank all my lenders who made this possible. I am more determined than ever to work on my arts and produce better goods and perhaps sell them in the online platforms available with your help. Thank you so much.

I do painting and drawing and at the same time make stuff out of reeds and other wetland products such as the chairs in the pictures.

Do you sell your art online, such as eBay or Amazon?
