About Me

My name is Lucy Wamboi; I was born in Yamumbi farm, 10 kilometers way from Eldoret Town. I grew there and started my ECD and later got admission at Mwiruti Primary School and after that I joined Kaptagat Girls. When I was in form three my father died and since he was our bread winner I was forced to drop out of school and mother could not afford my school fees. Life was very difficult to us and that’s when I decided to get married at an age of 20.My husband opened a small kiosk for me.

My Business

I started this business 2 years ago with a capital of Ksh15000.00 which my husband gave me. I sell goods like Milk, Sugar, Bread, Rice, Recharge cards and many others. The business has an income of Ksh8000.00 a month. Where my business is located, there are few shops and most of them never open early enough in the morning to cater for the needs for the customers. I wake up as early as possible and I make sure that all customers have been attended to. The profits which I get use them to improve my stock and also to pay for my Children School fees.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,I thank you so much for the first loan you lend me. Now I am requesting for the second loan which I Will use to expand my business to a self selection with a varieties of cereal products and also add more float to my money transfer business.
