About Me

I am a vigilant, hard working, business oriented single mum. I grew up in a rural area & was raised with my grandparents because I lost my parents. Life was not easy as during the holidays I had to work in coffee plantations to raise my school fees. After high school I went to work with mama ngina children's home in the 70's. I has favor with my employers to the extent that I got the opportunity to go to Japan. It was my first time on a plane & going outside my country. I was introduced to chop sticks!Going abroad gave me exposure & confidence After coming back to my country I decided to start my own wholesale business. I started to import rice from India & source maize meal from Unga Millers. I got my first born in the 90's while still doing business. From the savings I decided to venture into the wines & spirits business. I rented out a business lace & paid goodwill. I started networking & formed good relationships with them to the point of being given goods in loan. I would be given a one week grace period to repay. It was a good deal as the drinks never lasted more than a week. I secures business loans through this business & even took on some of my orphaned nieces & nephews & educated them, they have all cleared high school. I appreciated my customers annually with a free goat eating day on 24th December. Through my business I have educates my kids ( my first born is an international medical student & the younger one is still in primary school).
Everything was going well until I decided to fulfill my grandfather's last dying wish to oversee his wealth & wishes were well taken care of. Now in my country land is a precious commodity & people go through lengths to acquire it. Little did I know I was taking myself to the frying pan. Long story short, it has been 12+ years of court battles & seeking justice. Lawyers ain't cheap either! I won in the end & the verdict was in my favor. But victory came with it's price since he's a politician. I still bet all odds on this one!
Down the road I also tried out online marketing & real estate. My daughter also finished high school & got accepted into pre med school outside my country. My younger one is in primary school.
I believe persistence, strategy, hard work, wisdom have been my pillars to keep me going. I am looking to add on the stock & increase profit margins. I buy stock at wholesale at $100 for a carton of 750ml bottles & I expect to make a $30 dollar profit per carton. I am looking for a loan to buy one & a half cartons. My loan request being $150
