About Me

I am a girl of 23 years ,I was born on 16 August, 1993,I am the only child of my parents,I am a Christian, I attend the Church of Pentecost. when I finished junior high school , I continued my Senior high school at Queen of Peace in the upper west region. After completing, I started doing business ,that is how I started doing business by carrying sachet water on my head to get money to support my parents because they are very weak and can't work,I am the breadwinner of my family. In my village, wearing of smock, our food and language makes us unique, also culture because we inherit to our fathers side.I haven't given birth yet but if i give birth,I would like my children to live a comfortable life unlike me example doctor, lawyer, teacher etc.I like to read story books whenever am doing nothing and singing

My Business

I sell pure water,I work with a pure water company with the name super pure drinking water ,they supply me with water then I put it inside a fridge for it to freeze so that people will come and convey from me and go and sell in the market ,this is done mostly by women who have no money to support their family, with this,I create job opportunity for people. I chose water business because every living thing need water to survive,no one can live a day without drinking water, because my capital is very small, I couldn't afford more fridges but with the one have ,I make twenty Ghana CEDI's a week. With the small profit I make, accumulate food for my family, also save some in a bank because I want to continue my education to the next level so that my parents can also enjoy the fruit of their labour because they have suffered for me

Loan Proposal

I have targeted to expand my business of selling bags of sachet purified water by buying a refrigerator of $250 US Dollars. The ability to acquire that will help me to order in large stock the bags of sachet water hence calling for the need of me employing salesgirls. Employment issues are of large percentage to individuals whom for one or two reason were not able to pursue their secondary and tertiary education in Ghana, of which I believe I would be able to create an avenue to employ more individuals. I will be able to increase my profit to a minimum of GHC 40 per week.

Made a few payments early on, but has not been heard from since July 2018. In June 2020, I transferred the loan to the Zidisha Members Loan Fund.

Alhassan made consistent, weekly payments and finished the loan on schedule. It's especially nice to help someone that is employing other people.
