About Me

Am a community youth leader championing other young farmers on matters of better agricultural practices. Main focus is on small scale vegetable farmers with most of the youth having less than a hectare of land. I negotiate with agrovets on better rlrices of input and seeds to ensure fellow farmers get the best of deals in the market.
My goal is to form a cooperative for value addition to enhance productivity and profitability

My Business

My source of income comes from consulting on matters farming and sale of farm produce. I also engage in poultry farming which add onto my income while reducing the cots of inputs as I use some produce from this venture in crop farming for example manure.

Loan Proposal

I Will use the money advanced to buy some farm inputs I need to increase the coverage of the irrigation kit on my farm.
The use of irrigation has reduced my water usage while ensuring that each plant receives the requires amount of water for good growth. With the use of this system, I have reduced the cost of labour as drip irrigation isn't that labour intensive since a single worker can control the system in totality.
With the use of this system, my profit margins will increase and I will be able to do vegetable farming all year round.
