About Me

I am Rose Anyango from Kenya. I'm a farmer now in Agribusiness. I do cash cropping for my survival. I am a widow having losed my hardworking husband in the year 2011. We used to practice agriculture with my husband just to keep us moving and to feed our five children. It was hard sometimes but we kept moving forward. By time I losed my husband of TB infection, our last born was sitting his KCSE but non of our children had joined any tartiary institution due to insufficient funds. I had to struggle to meet this! That challenged me to start smart agriculture and understand what is in agribusiness. I have been doing Kienyeji chicken farming and mixed crop farming(vegetables, banana, maize beans and various fruits like avocados and lemon). These has helped me stand as a strong woman and my children done there Diploma and degree achievements except the last born who is yet to graduate as a pharmacist by next year. I'm looking forward to higher achievements! That is my brief background. Thanks.
