MY STORY
My name is Hellen Adoma Yeboah. I am a 26 year old Ghanaian lady. I am a graduate of the University of Cape Coast. I am the second from a family of five. While in school, I assisted a friend who was into the designing of ladies hand bags with local prints. The quality and the beautiful nature of her products got me really interested and as such I started picking from her and selling on campus. Through committed efforts and dedication, business started booming and I have not looked back ever since. For now all I do is the distribution and sale of these sandals on campuses and some church friends and colleagues. For now however, my aim is to target other campuses in other. I am very entrepreneurial minded and I make the most out of every opportunity that present itself and as such this next step of expansion is a great step for me.
ABOUT MY BUSINESS
I am in the production and sale of beautiful ladies hand bags made with local prints. I have a lot of styles and design which people love to see and buy every day and this is generating a good profit for me and as such I want to expand my business and expand to other parts of the country and beyond and to also serve as an avenue to employ others who have no work to do. I currently do not have a shop but keep the goods at home and delivers them when contacted by someone for supplies. I however have a huge customer base who are always ready to buy from me.
I would be glad to get this loan to be able to get access to the other regions and also spread my tentacles beyond the shores of Ghana in order to be able to fight the unemployment situation around here and also be able to make good profit so as to be able to pay back. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble institution. Thank you.
This loan if granted will be used to purchase more fabrics for the making of the bags. the beauty of these bags depend largely on two things. first, the quality of leather used and secondly the quality and beauty of the fabrics used in designing. it is therefore my intention to use the loan raised to purchase more fabrics. A yard of a quality Ghanaian fabric cost about 2 to 3 dollars depending on texture and quality. Depending on the size of a bag, clutch or sandals, one could use a yard of a fabric to design about one to three bags at a time.
this loan if granted to me will afford me the opportunity of buying more and producing more. Also it could also allow me to enjoy discounts as it will me i can now buy in bulk instead of the usual small quantity buying.
in return i expect to increase my profit earnings as i can now produce more and sell more. from my last loan i was able to make about 56 dollars in profits and with this next loan i am projecting a profit of about 65 dollars and over if all things remain constant.
Thank you.
