About Me

I am Edwin Ngugi Irungu 29 years of age. I hail from a a family of five where am the first born. I have gone to school in public school since my childhood as my parents couldn’t afford my school due to their low income. I worked hard and was able to join a provincial high school due to my good grades. This made my parents to organize a harambee for my fees and government bursaries. I did well in high school and I was able to get a good grade that enabled to be admitted in university under joint admission board which is a government program that helps bright students to undertake their degree programs with subsidized price. This was a great relief to me and my parents as I would get education.
In 2011 I joined technical university of Kenya to undertake bachelor in engineering mechanical engineering where I graduated in december 2015. I got a job with synergetic Energy Partners Company limited as a graduate engineer in mechanical and processing department.
In 2016 I was promoted to lead the department and held the position until December 2018 where i resigned and joined the government as a petroleum officer to date.
As a way of increasing my income I started a Beauty Salon and cosmetics for my wife in January 2019.

My Business

My Business is Beauty Salon and Cosmetics. We do Hair styling, Hair cuts, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetics and sale of Ladies shoes.
The business is located along the eastern by pass at Membly. Its worth noting that beauty industry is growing at very high rate. In regards to this, we as family decided to venture into it.
The amount raised will be used to buy brow dry, Nail Gel Dryer, seats and few cosmetics products

Loan Proposal

after the amount a was issued with lastly i was able to find good return and as a result i would like to expand it more as follows: i would like to lease an extra hectare of land to increase my business at 85 dollars , carry out land preparations at 25 dollars, build a simple storage structure for holding some farm tools after work at 35dollars, add 2 bags of fertilizer for the extra hectare for 30dollars, buy one wheelbarrow for carrying equipments to the farm at 15 dollars and the remaining 8dollars to add 2 farm workers for efficient running of the farm to give maximum output
