Am Erick momanyi, I live in kisii Kenya, i went to tendere primary school then completed my secondary education at sameta high school, I got a C at my secondary education but I wasn't able to join college because of financial problems.
I decided to start a small business that would help me save which will allow me further my studies in one of the local colleges here in kisii.
I have passion for business and I'll love to take business management in college.
I started my business in 2018, the intent of starting this business is to to help me save enough to help me join college by the start of next year, I'll still keep selling the second clothes because I'll be taking evening classes.
I sell second hand clothes in my local market, mostly I deal with men's clothes, Both casual wear and official.
I have been able to build a good clientele which has raised the demand for my clothes, I hope zidisha will help me increase my stock.
First I want to say thank you for the support you have given me this far, my business has really grown to another level and without you that wouldn't have been possible.
I would like to apply for a new loan which will help me expand the variety of clothes that I sell, when I started I was mainly dealing with just men clothes but I have included women for this loan I will like to bring in kids.
For this loan of kes 156000 this is how am going to invest it.
Right now in Kenya it's the raining season which tends to be cold and particularly in my local area it gets quite cold,
I will use kes 45000, to get warm clothings like jumpers, sweaters and jackets, for adults a unisex bale will cost kes 27000 and for kids it will cost kes 18000.
I will also be adding stocks for ladies and men both official and casual wear.
I will get a bale for men trouser official and casual for kes 40000.
Most of my lady clients have been requesting for jumpsuits, I will invest kes 25000 to get lady jumpsuits to meet the orders.
I will also invest in kids clothing, I will get a bail for girl dress which will cost kes 12000,another bale for girl trousers will cost kes 8000.
For the boys I will invest kes 13000 to get a mixed bale for trousers and shorts and invest kes 7000 to get a bale for t-shirt and shirts.
I really appreciate your partnership with and I believe you will continue give me this support which will help me grow my business.
Thanks in advance and be blessed.
After the pandemic started I had to think out of the box, I started using my social media sites to market my clothes, this has really helped me create new clients and it has given me a good boost. I believe I have established a good client base that is constant and this will help me be able to repay my loan on time.
