I come from Nandom in the Upper West Region but stay in Berekum currently. I started my basic school at Yiadom Boakye Experimental school in Berekum. I furthered my education from there to Techiman Senior high school. My parents are Teachers by profession. I am the general manager of 'Good luck' supermarket. Because the Business is lucrative and booming, my sister always help me with the sales. Since my place is a new site and people travel to Berekum for daily goods, providing these daily product for them in the community at affordable prices has been the break through.
Good luck supermarket is the name of my provision store. I started this supermarket shop in my area because my area is a new site and people demand for daily goods for living is high and there is no such business in that area. When I started this business, there have been a lot of improvement since people do run to my shop for their daily needs.
The products I sell are sardines, tin tomatoes, polythene bags, rice, sugar, milk, bread, coffee, bread flour and the likes which are of high demand
Again I also deal in products like, soap powders, soap, detergents, Mackerel, beans, groundnuts, soya beans, and many others. The main idea for considering this business was that, the people at our site will need these items in everyday life. If I invest about $150 within a week I can get $45 due to the high demand for my products and how react to changes in the system which cater for people needs. I will need enough funding to support my business since I want to start retail services with other customers who also want to start small business in other areas . Since zidisha micro-finance company have been my source of funding since 2013 I therefore plead with you if you can offer me additional $300 to buy more mackerel, rice, beans, polythene bag, tin tomatoes of different sizes in bulk and bags of suger, groundnuts, gari, salt and the likes to start my retail business
I will use the loan to buy additional mackerel, sardines, soap, detergent, fry oil, tin tomatoes in bulk to supply to my small scale businessmen who want to undertake a sequel business at different sites. The loan will also help me to buy different varieties of rice to enlighten my business since it will be of higher demand in this Christmas.
Again the loan will partly help me to employ an assistant to help me with the sales during this festive season.
