I am Humphrey Sasia, born in 1984. I am married and blessed with two kids. I live in Kenya, Nairobi City, Uthiru- Gichagi village. I schooled at Evojo primary and Aiam Secondary schools in respectively. I did a diploma in Business management at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). Perseverance, endurance and hard work is and remain to be the only key to my success in life. After completion of my diploma education, i got 100 US dollars from my uncle which i used to invest in the restaurant business. This was indeed a great success. I rented a and refurbished a small structure from thee near by uthiru market from where i started my small business. The main uniqueness in this area is that getting a good space to start a business and /or getting a good structure that fits in the public health specifications is hard. There are plenty of opportunities, however and who ever has an interest in them and with enough financial assistance one can easily succeed. My two children wish to become a doctor and a teacher. My hobby is reading novels and preparing recipes.
My business for a hotel/ restaurant. I prepare food staffs and beverages for human consumption and sell them to city residents . These products are of high demand due to mushrooming because of the high growing population in the in the city. Also, most of the motorists around believe in spicing their meals in the same area. The main reason why i chose this venture is because of these ready market and access to customers. The main costs incurred are in relation to the purchase of my stock and operational cost for the following day. Most of my revenue and income/ profits come from the sale of ready made food staffs and beverages . The main use of my profit is in improving my business and educating my kids as well as meeting my domestic expenses where necessary.
Hi Zidisha? i wish to use the money to expand my restaurant by extending the eating lounge.this is due to the rise in the number of my customers. The number of customers is rising day by day since i am winning most of them from neighbouring food vendors due to exellent services and clean quality foods.This is the break down of my budget;
50 dollars for purchase of new furnitures
70 dollars for the internal finishes
13 dollars for purchase of more utensils.
I wish to pexpand my services and upgrade them to the best standards in order to win more customers in my restaurant.
I want to creat more job opportunities by expanding the restaurant.
Foward ever backwaed never is my new slogan towards achieving the desired goals.
through this expantion i expect to get a profit of at least 50 dollars in a day.
