About Me

The name my parents was given to me is Micheal Oti Asabre, I was born in Accra and raise up here in Accra too, I attended primary school at Fawoade Primary School here in Accra in the Greater Accra Region and I have completed Junior high school which I have obtained West African Examination Council Certificate in junior High school. I come from a family of seven (7) and I was the last but one born of my parents, the name of my parents are Mr and Mrs. Asabre, I was named after my grandfather. And I will like to be a great person one day.

My Business

I have been engaged myself in our local cloth called Kente, my store was located in Central Business area in the Greater Accra Region, which is very big shop which I normally received foreigners from different areas to by this Kente from me. I started this business when I finished my West African Examination Council Certificate. I engaged in this business with my grandfather and now I am holding the big share in the Shop, because is a fast growing business. and i will appreciate to get more money in other for me to move this business to regions.

Hi lenders,
I am VM for Micheal Otu. His has not made any repayments since his loan was funded nor made any updates on his progress. I tried to contact him and his references on phone unsuccessfully. I manage to get through to some of his 'supposed' references on phone, none confirm that they knew him nor that they had names as indicated on the borrower profile.

For the above reason, I would like Zidisha to find a means of verifying the submitted details of borrower references (e.g. through voice calls), before approving their zidisha accounts. The SMS verifications, currently in use, may be proving ineffective.

Another way to try to contact the borrower is through a physical visit, however, as a Zidisha VM, this is not really a standard VM duty. I must however admit that this is quite most effective in getting borrowers to respond; and has worked for my zidisha mentees in my own community - who are located nearer.
